Listed in Gene Kannenberg Jr.’s 500 Essential Graphic novels (which is also available from the HCL system) as one of the top 10 essential horror graphic novels. Kannenberg gives it 3 stars (out of 5 possible), acknowledging that the 2nd and 3rd books in this series feature Moore at his best.
