Great read with some interesting twists. Couldn't put it down. Some interesting thoughts on how we torture ourselves.

While the story is interesting, it also includes what can only be considered pornographic scenes, and a lot of them. A little sex is fine in a novel, but this one goes way over the top. I wish I had been warned.

I didn’t think there were too many or too graphic sex scenes considering it is an adult novel. The entire novel is based on adult characters. Perhaps an ’R’ rating if it were a movie, but I wouldn’t use the term

I did not like the book because of its darkness and perverse deceit. I read somewhat more than half, decided it was not something I wanted to invest in, and returned it. While life does have its deep agonies, I trust it can be painted and artistically described otherwise.
