The reason I read this book was because I was involved in a book group at the library. But instead of reading it once I read it three times! This book is an awesome read. It is about two kids named Claudia and James Kinciad. Claudia wants to run away and she decides to bring James along, but instead of running to some woods or the wilderness, they run to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City! While there, they are trying to solve a mystery that made headlines! This book is a great story about survival and personal beauty. It also won a Newbery award. I give this book 5 stars. Don't be afraid to try something new and read this book!

You may not like the title, but don't judge a book by it's cover. The begining of the book might be odd but that's no reason to say 'I'm never going to pick up this book ever again'. It ends scary, well, almost scary. It's about two children (Claudia and Jamie) who run away to the Metropolian Museum of Art in New York City, New York. They only have about $28, but that was a lot back then. But when Claudia sees a statue that even makes experts draw a blanc, she wanted to find out who made it. She wasn't going to leave to go home until she found out. I have only one more thing to tell you: READ THIS BOOK!

In this book Claudia and Jamie run away to the metropolitan museum to teach their parents a leson. They want to do this because they do not get enough allowance. When they are there the museum gets a new statue named angel and they want to find out if the statue really done by the artist it is clamed to be done by or is it just a fake, if it is then the museum will have made the best purchase in the history of art. Is it, done by who they claim, read the book to find out.
