Summary: When Finney arrives at the first day of 8th grade, he meets the new girl in school--a ghost named Jenny! The shy and somewhat awkward Finney summons all of his courage and asks Jenny to the Dead Day Dance, and to his surprise she accepts. The only problem is she's a ghost and he's not, meaning they can't actually dance, hold hands, or even share a kiss! What's a boy to do? Go to the school's witch for a magic potion, of course!
