I had only ever heard of Jaime once through a really old issue of Wizard magazine. I only recently got a chance to really get a good look at his work when I found this at MPLS CENTRAL LIBRARY and now I'm in love! Maggie, Hopey and the rest of the girls (even the boys) are all lovable and beautifully drawn. Jaime's art is PERFECTION! Classy and retro, but punky and fun! It's simple, but heavily detailed. Jaime rekindled that fire in me that made me wanna be a comic artist.
