This was an excellent read for Cornwell’s fans & anyone else who love good mysteries.

I look forward to reading all of Cornwell’s novels but I have to say, this one was a disappointment. Have you ever walked into a movie 10 minutes late and felt like you never really knew what what going on? Well, that’s what it was like for me in the Scarpetta Factor. Facts and explainations were done way into the book after I was scratching my head as to why they were even talking about this particular person. Scarpetta also has gotten out of the morgue more or less and taken up detective work. Please, get back in the morgue, talk about medical things, quit the storyline of the tiresome and distasteful Chandonne family and be the doctor that you are!

I am a Cornwell fan, but didn’t like this one as well as some of the others. 5 of 10 for me.
