Not bad at all for a first book. I will put the author on my watch list even though some of the dialog between the main character and female characters would benefit from rework. It feels a little contrived but I am sure it will be better in the next installment.

A decent suspense yarn about a former rogue FBI agent helping the agency nail extortion murderers. This also shows how one individual is able to accomplish more than bureaucratic agencies. 8 of 10 stars
