Following the philosophy that old hardware can be repurposed rather than added to the landfill, artist and first-time author Sarafan presents an array of projects, from a keyboard lamp to a kitty condo. Safety considerations are somewhat lacking, given the toxic components and need for soldering. Some of the finished projects look unpolished and others are impractical; still, this is an interesting and original foray into recycling electronics. (c) Copyright 2010.
