This book has all the elements of an unforgettable love story - youth, hope, passion, determination, adventure, birth, betrayal, and new beginnings. Set mostly in Paris and Europe in the era of Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Pound, Stein. What I wouldn’t give to have been part of that scene...

I’m not sure why people find these historical fictions so compelling. It’s written well but a little slow getting to the ending when you know the ending! Just read the real things—Hemingway’s A Moveable Feast and The Sun Also Rises.
