A Good Knight's rest
Thomas, Shelley Moore.
Easy Picture Book THOMAS
From Publishers' Weekly:
In his sixth outing, Thomas's Good Knight decides it's time for a vacation, but when his rowdy dragon friends insist on coming, his journey proves anything but restful. As the overpacked wagon hobbles along, the first dragon asks: "How much longer?" The second dragon is thirsty, the third needs "to use the bushes," and everywhere they stop, the dragons interrupt the knight just as he's falling asleep. Finally, with a frazzled expression and bags under his eyes, he exclaims, "I want to rest! I want to relax! I need a break!" and the dragons finally get the message. Backseat drivers and harried parents alike may recognize some familiar family dynamics in this journey. Ages 3-5. (June) (c) Copyright PWxyz, LLC. All rights reserved.
