This is one of the best novels I've ever read! The narrator, Cassandra Mortmain, is one of the most realistic characters I've ever met! The story covers her 17th year, and what happens when the owners of her family's rented home (which happens to be a castle) move back into town. The bad part: her family is almost penniless and hasn't paid rent in forever. The good part: the owners are two handsome, rich young men... But don't jump to conclusions! Though this story has a recognisable plot, it is VERY different in a lot of ways, and well worth reading.

I've only just started this novel, but it's really well written. Even J.K. Rowling gave it two thumbs up!
