Instead of being champion of everything Danny was champion of poaching. He poached pheasants. At his first try he got 120 pheasants. His dad poached also.

This book is really weird, It is about a boy who loves his dad and poaches pheasants. I did not like it. I had to read for school.

i do not like the sticky hat trick that Danny’s father’s dad came up with, I would prefer the Horsehair Stopper. The book sometimes scares me like when danny is driving in the Baby Austin and he sees a police car whiz past him. I like Quentin Blake’s pictures better than the other artist’s drawings. I think boys will like this story more than girls.
