This book has been and still is one of my favorites. The Belgariod series along with the Mallorean are ones that I re-read every few years. It’s fun and the characters are people you come to treasure much like Frodo and Sam

and the rest of this series, the next series, and the two stand-alones. i LOVE david eddings, i like these books as much as i like tamora pierce and sherwood smith. i have read them each between seven and ten times
