This was a very emotional book about an unlikely martyrdom of a girl named Cassie Bernall. It shows how her parents reacted to this situation and the stuff that they felt when Cassie was still alive. I would recommend this book whether you are Christian or not!!! Yet, it is a little short and may get boring at times

I read this books twice and I think it is a very cool book about Cassie's life and what she was going through! It is really cool that she said she believed in God then died and if she hadn't she would have lied! I would recommend this book to anyone who likes real life stories and problem teens.

This book was a very good one. It is a biography of Cassie Bernall, one of the victims of the Volumbine High School massacre on April 20, 1999 in Littleton, Colorado, and was written by her mother, Misty Bernall. When asked by one of her killers if she believed in God, she responded "Yes," and was then shot in the head. This book was was hard to put down, but was also sometimes painful to read. This book recounts the months that led up to Cassie's death. Before Cassie was religious and had faith, she was a rebellious teenager. Cassie overcame hatred and found hope and faith in God. Both tennagers and adults would enjoy this book because involves the hardships families can go through. To me, Cassie is a hero for saying "Yes" and I loved reading the story that led up to that answer. I gave this book four stars because it is a wonderful book, but can kind of be upsetting to read because it's really sad.
