I really like this book. It is about a girl named Linnet. Linnet is 11 and she is growing wings!!! Linnet's mother abandons her at a Motel 6, so Linnet goes to see her grandmother. Linnet's grandmother takes Linnet to a place where everyone has wings. Linnet is left to live with these people. She learns to accept herself and her mutancy.
