I just LOVE this book. It is one of my favorites. My social studies teacher last year recommended this book to me. I REALLY suggest that you read it too! Great story, image, wonderful book! ~sokker18~

Each time he got into trouble, Cole was warned to shape up because this was his last chance. When reading this exciting story, I kept wondering if Cole would be able to change his life. He’d made some big mistakes. Living on an island by himself was his biggest challenge yet. Then he met Spirit Bear.

Within Cole Matthews lies anger, rage and hate. Cole has been stealing and fighting for years. This time he caught Peter Driscal in the parking lot and smashed his head against the sidewalk.
