I love books during the time of King Henry VIII, and Carolyn Meyer brings their stories to life. History is exciting! Elizabeth’s father, King Henry VIII, had her mother beheaded. Her half brother died. Her half sister hated her, and had her imprisoned. But finally, after waiting for a long time, Elizabeth became Queen.
