A student writes letters to his favorite author. We never see the author's letters, but this is a very good book.

Read this book as a fourth grader and found it to be profound in the trials and tribulations of a child growing up with a father who he rarely sees and misses.

This book was very good because it was suspenceful and interesting. It was about a boy named leigh, who wrote to his favorite author about what was going on in his life. Leigh entered a writing contest. The winners got to meet a mysterious famous author. Lee didn't win but he got honerable mention. Then his teacher found out that the winning poem was copied out of a book, and was not an original. So the winner would not get to meet the mysterious authour, Angela Badger. So Leigh took her place. Leigh got to have lunch with Angela Badger. At the end, leigh's dad came unexpectedly and the 2 got to bond for the first time in a long time.

This is a really great book for people who have trouble writing letters. I use to hate writing letter but after i read this book i like writing letters. i sometimes write to my brother and sister.this book is written in a letter version. iy's like some write a letter over and over again to someone everyday about his day.but you would really like it it really teachs how to write a really good letter that you can get a A for

this book was interesting because it was full of letter that were written to mr Henshaw. It was also a diary.

This book is about a little and his dad but his mom and dad are divorced. He writes to an author and asks him for advice. This book is very good and I recomend it to everyone. I would so give this book a 5 star.
