The Ordinary Princess is a book about the princess, Ameythst or Amy as they all call her, who is given the gift of ordinariness by a fairy! It is an unusual gift for a fairy to give a cute, perfect, never-crying bay princess. Every time a prince comes to court her, he suddenly and oh-so-convieniently remembers a previously made appointment! Weird, huh? But, the reason is that they keep the gift of ordinairiness very hush-hush. Well, anyways she never likes any of them so her parents think up an idea that they could lock her up in a tower and hire a dragon to guard it and then they'll tell everyone that the princess is trapped in a tower by a dragon and some brave prince will come save her and then it'll be to late to refuse her hand in marriage. But, fortunately Amy finds out and runs away leaving a note to say that she doesn't want to be trapped in a tower. Then when she runs away!!!!!!!!!!!!! you have to read the book to find out!
