the first books name is actully 'a living nightmare'.. just to let you now. its about a boy (darren) who goes to the cirque du freak (circus of freaks) with his friend (steve) and just trying not to ruin it for you lets just say that things go wrong... REALLY wrong.. so later darren has to become a vampire because of the incident and has to leave his normal life behind and start a new crazy one in his new world of vampirism... the genre is fantasy/thriller/fiction.. and i think the series are really good.. cheesy at some parts, but otherwise, good.

I got the sillies reading the first part of this as it reminded me of Lemony Snicket’s determined reiterated of the precipitation cycle in one of the later books. Yeah, yeah, I get it. Taken as a whole this is a pretty good book, especially the notion that we have to look at the big picture, not just the obvious when trying to solve a problem. In addition to arresting subway vandals and turnstyle jumpers (1) make their arrest and booking immediate and public, and 2) significantly improve the environment of the subway stations and clean up each train at the end of every run.
