Well written character studies. An easy read.

I enjoyed this book a lot. The book has three sections. An young American woman meets a middle aged Scottish man who is recently widowed. She flings herself into a holiday affair with a Greek man. The older man watches with sympathy. Then years later, she meets the man’s son in New York. A case of ships passing in the night.
