Summary: The authors are a Benedictine community in Country Limerick, Ireland. When launched in that country, this book was an instant hit. It sold out its first print run of 9,000 copies and immediately was number one on the Irish bestsellers' list for hardback nonfiction. Cathedral Books sold out its first 600 copies immediately with hundreds more reserved on backorder. Other bookshops ahve been so inundated with requests they have taped signs at their cash registers saying the GLENSTAL PRAYER BOOK is not yet available.
