In this book Nina Idi has been betrayed by Jason, the boy she loved. Now, in a Population Police jail cell, she meets three other illegal third children, Matthias, Percy, and Alia. The trio helps her escape from the Population Police HQ and into some woods. She is angry and confused and doesn’t know what to say when she gets cornered but surprisingly her new friends do. It turns out that she is actually some part of a test! This is a great book!
