This is a fascinating book about family, loss, and rediscovery. The search for her brother transports the lead character to a different culture and climate and introduces her to a friendship that would have been impossible in her normal life. I enjoyed it very much. We have such a richness of talented writers in Minnesota and Sandra Benitez is one of them.
