The Winter Queen is a very captivating mystery that holds the reader's attention from beginning to end. The mystery starts with a seemingly rash suicide by a man in front of two women. What seems to be a simple suicide ends up turning into a controversial murder mystery that is solved by the one and only heroic Erast Fandorin. It was impossible to put down the book because it was so mind-boggling. It reminds me very much of a Sherlock Holmes book and I am excited to read about Erast's next adventure/ investigation.
