This was a wonderful book. Usually I expect ’journal books’ to be a bit dry & boring, but the author made Kristina seem real, and the book was really good. Kristina is an only child, heir to the throne of Sweeden. Her father named her ’king’ of Sweeden, instead of ’queen’, and had her grow up treated as a prince.
