I thought this was a really good book.A bit of a strange theme, but good nonetheless. There are fifteen of them. I own 1, 4 and 15. I also have the first third of the fourth book on CD.

This is the first book in the series, where our main character, Soren, is kidnapped from his home after falling out of his nest. Soren doesn't know where he is, or why he's there, but he is sure of one thing, he isn't in a good place.

First off, I'd like to say thank you to the author, Kathryn Lasky. When I was in school and I finished the Harry Potter Series I thought I needed to keep reading. So I looked to see what everyone was reading. My friend Caitlin was reading the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series. I though to give talking owls a chance. Once I read it I thought it was one of my favorite books. It has so many adventures from Soren(main character)being whisked away from his nest to a far away place called Saint Aggie's, to the time when Soren and Gyfie were moon blinked. Anyway I love the Guardians of Ga'Hoole. I think you should check out The Capture at your local Library.

It was an amazing book! It made me feel like I was in it, also I'm lucky I had the next book because I had to read more! It had some action, some drama and a lot of smart ideas. When ever Soren (the main carector) flew I felt like I flew, when ever he got pushed I felt like I was too! I think it's awesome how much time and effort Kathryn put in it and altho I could write a lot more I'll just say that it's an amazing book! And thank you Kathry for writing it.

It was a great adventure of an owl on a mission. The story gets really good at the end. So don't stop in the middle! [Series: Guardians of Ga/Hoole #1]
