This book is truly amazing. It just goes to show just how much people change and revert back to their primitive instincts when put into uncomfortable or frightening situations. The characters are easy to relate to and, for the most part, are easy to understand. A bunch of boys get shipwrecked on the island, and they eventually split into two rival groups, which begins to cause problems for everyone.

A great book. Slow at the beginning, but it picks up.

A bit of an easier read than the others, but worth it. Makes you think.
