When he falls asleep in this world, he wakes up in our world, and so on. It is very good, if not a little confusing at first. It is a great book and shows how deception can ruin a perfect, weird world. It is a great book that shows The Fall in the Bible, except in a very different way. I would reccommend this book to all teenagers and adults!!!!! :)
(Oh, and don't forget to check out Red and White, the two final books to this trilogy)

Tom Hunter is running away from his debtors. A bullet grazes his head and he blacks out. When he awakes, he is in a different world, a place that is completely innocent. From this moment on, every time he goes to sleep in one world he wakes in the other. In our world, a company is trying to blackmail the world by releasing a deadly virus that only Thomas knows about. In the other world, Thomas finds out they have 'books of history', books which detail the future of our world.
