Nelson DeMille kicks John Corey’s wise-acre persona up a notch, melding some creative one-liners with brutal violence in this great novel. Written pre-9/11, The Lion’s Game provides readers with telling insight into the mind of a KGB-trained Libyan terrorist — his total allegiance to his faith, his unwavering dedication to his mission, and the relentless pursuit of his goal, driven by only his side of the story. I found The Lion’s Game to be one of DeMille’s top books. One great read.
