I LOVE THIS BOOK SERIES AND THE ANIME!!!!! i really love that the guy that does the voice for edward in the english version also does the vioce for Tamaki from ouran high school host club!! another anime/manga i love. That guys name is VIC MIGNOGNA!!!!!

I love this series. It was the first Manga that I truly fell in love with, and lived up to the expectation I had for the potential of the genre. Hiromu Arakawa is an amazing artist, and her skill really shows how much an expert hand at the drawing board can add to a manga series. Her story-telling is exceptional as well, so you don’t have to face the disappointment of a manga artist who can spin a good tale but can’t really manage the art, or the fabulous artist who’s got no story to tell that’s worth hearing. The characters are unique and vividly drawn, both as images and as personalities. I find inspiration in the details, so one of the big things I noticed was that she takes the time to really create amazingly individual faces, even for the minor characters. Often in the manga scene you’ll find that the artist draws the exact same face for everyone and only gets individual when it comes to hair. Humph! She also impressed me with how well she manages to dramatize the face as a three-dimensional object. Not many can really manage that so the fact that she does is really amazing. Anyway, read this series, you won’t regret it.

This series is very fun and easy to read. It is about 2 brothers that travel to many different countries to find the Philosopher's stone so that they can get their original bodies back. Alchemist lovers and amature manga readers are sure to love this great series.

this is the BEST manga ever!!!!!! i love fullmetal alchemist soooo much! the 13th book is coming out soon, (i can’t wait!) there was violence but not too bad like there’s other manga with way more violence, and the farther in the series the more violence. and the anime is so cool! (I LOVE EDWARD!) the moive is really cool!

Really great, a little too much violence, but there are 12 volumes out now so the library needs to ge #10,11,12. Please help by suggesting this tiles, the more the better. Check out the movie too awsome!
