I highly recommend this DVD. It shows so well how people with Autism can be bright,productive, happy people if they are given a chance to learn.

It is amazing to think of the number of people with autism who are like this young woman: extremely intellegent, able to learn and be productive, happy individuals who are trapped inside themselves and their world unable to communicate sufficiently to express all they are capable of. How frustrating that must be for them.

As a documentary, it fell a little short for me. There were a lot of questions unanswered and it just wasn’t very thorough. I also was hoping for more of a resolution. The author, however, is a very articulate and impressive woman.
