I don’t know how Jessica Lange actually landed roles after this movie. Other than looking good in her costumes, she really didn’t do much. I was very disappointed in the changes they made to the story. Kong didn’t even climb up the Empire State Building! The romance was focused between the photographer and Lange. Nothing about Kong was explored or the realtionship between Lange & Kong. The acting was poor. The special effects were poor. (Spoiler alert) I did cheer when Bridges & Lange did not end up together at the end. It was the best part of the movie.

Wow. As I recall this was a pretty good movie. Maybe you’d like the remake with Jack Black better.
