This book took a little time to get off the ground, but it finally became a good page-turner. The author really goes out of her way to beat up her protagonist (Rainy) and it seemed a bit over-kill. Although I never did guess who the kidnapper was, I'm not sure she gave enough clues for any reader to have guessed. Overall, it was a good read.
