This was a very entertaining movie. The effects were stunning. It was impressive on the big screen and the movie theatre. Even my wife liked it and she is not a sci-fi fan.

I didn’t think this remake lived up to all the hype about it. There were way too many scenes of the female lead and King Kong staring at each other or off into the distance with what was supposed to be emotional intensity. Boring.
