This book was awesome. Steinbeck's talents allows the reader to enter the world of the Joad's and experience their struggles and triumphs with them. It is a book that everyone should read.

This book was just okay for me. I didn't really think that it got interesting until around page three hundred- and then it ended without tying up any loose ends. I think that older teens and adults would appreciate this book more than I did.

A stunning book. The characters, the descriptions, the story, is so real it feels like you are living in the Dust Bowl and you are an Okie. It feels like you actually KNOW the characters personally and you can smell the dust and feel the sweat trickling down the back of your neck under the glaring Oklahoma sun.
Vivid, haunting, gritty fiction.
