I liked this very much though it was just a little more Parker than Chandler, but it was nice to get another installment in Philip Marlowe’s life. I would recommend reading some Raymond Chandler to everyone. He was the creator and master of a distinctive style. I don’t understand why he isn’t read more often in lit. classes, or at least mentioned.
