A fast-paced book with interesting characters and an exciting storyline. It was on okay read, but I don't think I'll ever read it again.

I think this was a fine book. It was mainly about the problems teens had to face in the 1960s and how they tried to stay together.

THe book was really good! It wasn't one of those feel good books it really gave reality about what happens everyday to kids on the street. It gave true and realistic dialogue, too. THis is a great book for kids who want a REAL awsome and thrilling book!

The Outsiders is a story of a boy, an outcast, who doesn't belong in society. When a simple defense turns into a nightmare, Ponyboy, the outcast, has to flee with his friend, and what follows changes their lives forever. I recommend this book highly, especially since the author was only sixteen when she wrote it! It's a very powerful book that really challenges you to think about how you make a difference in others lives.
