This is a wonderful historical fiction book about the Mirabal sisters. They are in the Dominican Republic under the evil dictator Trujillo. It is a wonderful story about how the sisters join in the movement against Trujillo and eventually Trujillo is thrown out of power.

It was an interesting book because it was from the point of view of four different people; who are sisters. It was sad though, especially because it was based on a true story.
