An Hercule Poirot Novel. I was completely off on the solution. I was sure I had guessed who had done it, and the Agatha Christie delivered an ending I could never have predicted. It was nice to have Hastings back too. For some reason, I always prefer the books that he is in. I suppose it’s because he brings Poirot down to earth, and adds a main character that is in the same position as the reader. It’s hard to imagine yourself as Poirot, but Hastings, on the other hand, is easier to see yourself as. As usual, I loved the book, and highly recommend the series.
