Book 2 of the Nancy Drew Mysteries. This book is a lot different then the first book. Whereas the first book was more of an adventure, this book was more of a mystery, though it has aspects of adventure. Growing up, this was one of my favorite Nancy Drew books, even more then the first one. Personally, I always liked Helan more then George and Bess. I wonder why they changed Nancy’s best friends? Maybe because Helen is so much like Nancy herself, and George and Bess are so different. Anyway, great book, great series.
