I give this book a rating of 4 out of 5 also. I liked that there was a flood in his basement and that everything got messed up with Christmas. It is the best "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" book I’ve read. I’m going to read some more in this series.

I would give this book a 4 out of 5 rating because it was very funny. It was also very creative of Greg to create a newspaper. My favorite part was when Greg shoveled a whole big place to look for a recycling bin, just to find an envelope with cash in it. Greg usually plays a lot of pranks on Rowley, but in this book I don’t think Greg did any.

Greg Heffley is in big trouble. School property has been damaged, and Greg is the prime suspect. But the crazy thing is he’s innocent. Or at least sort of. The authorities are closing in, but when a surprise blizzard hits, the Heffley family is trapped indoors. Very funny book. Includes things any kid would want to read when it comes to Greg and his little brother Manny, it gets to the point of being WAY cool. MUST READ FOR YA PEEPS!!!!!

I think it is very funny because Greg is always doing things funny when he does things wrong. The character I like best was Manny, Greg's younger brother because he didn't get in trouble like Greg because he was so young.

Finally, there is the familial issue of his brother Rodrick. He is odd, too, and is in a rock band named “Loded Diper.” He knows all this embarrassing stuff about Greg. This book was very pleaseing to read. It gave a great perspective of a boy who is just trying to get through middle school. He has many good and bad moments and his life is like a rollar coaster. THe book is written in a different way but it makes it easier and more fun to read and it doesn't even feel like your reading a real book, yet you are. I would definitely recommend this book to any kids who's parents make them read in the summer... since it's sooo good... and any kids who just want a great book!!! Best book this summer!!!

Diary of a wimpy kid should be for grames 3-6. I like it because it is not to much to read. It starts off with a kid named greg. School starts all up again and he has a lot of trouble

it’s okey... most of the boys in my class love them, which is ridiculous, since the books are second or third grade level. Some people call the impossible situations in the book funny, but I just think they’re strange, always embarrassing, and sometimes rude.

I love this book! Once I started reading this, I just did not even want to do anything else! I even got my dad to read it! And he liked it too! Our favorite part was when Greg got the barbie shoe up his nose!

This is a great book. What set this book apart from many other books is that the drawings have such a big role in the novel. If it wasn't for the drawings it would be hard to understand story. This is a must read book.

This book is about a kid's life. But, I don't know if it's real or not. So don't ask me a question like that. It also kind of funny (if you ask me). The way it is funny is how the characters Greg and Rowley act. This, I repeat, this is a REALLY FUNNY book!
