This book is a wonderful fairy tale- it is nearly impossible to put down! It is told in the format of a diary by a young maid who has sworn to not abandon her Lady, who has been trapped in a tower. It is the story of the maids adventure and becoming who she was all along.

Imagine having to impersonate the person you work for so they can marry the person they want to. Dashti is a mucker maid who is locked away in a tower with Lady Saren, because Lady Saren refuses to marry who her father betrothed her to because she has secretly married herself to someone else. Book of a thousand days really fascinated me with the intriguing characters and the interesting plot!
