This is my favorite book in the series. It is when Harry goes looking for Horcruxes. Harry tries to find a stone that can bring people back to life, a wand that can win any duel, and an invisibility cloak. Whoever finds all of them will become master of death. It was an exciting book with lots of action.

I was extremely said that it was the final book! It was a great book to finish it off though! All we have to look forward to now is the movies and if David Yates keeps doing the movies, they will stink! He totally messed up the fifth movie(in my opinion) so I really hope he gets it right for the last two!

As the stunning final book in the seven-book series, "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" delivers to all ages. It has the school elements that we are all familiar with, but now the Golden Trio, Harry, Ron, and Hermione, are off to save all of wizard and possibly, man-kind! As they search for clues to the Horcruxs, they discover the Hallows. Harry must decide which is more important at the moment. There is romance and excitement, and all the fun and dangerous elements of magic in this book. Children can read it lightly, but adults can read more into the themes and the undertones that correlate with real-life occurences. Harry Potter is my favorite book series, and it has ended with an absolutely FANTASTIC final book! I recommend this book to everyone!

IT shows that dumblebore and lupin aren’t perfect but everybody has faults. i also really liked how snape turned out. and about lily and snape.in the 5th book a. petunia talks abouts dementors and then says "that awful boy told her(lily) about them" and i akways thought she was talking about james but it turns out it was snape.some ppl say the epilouge was horrible but i think it awas a good one.it shows the characters emotions and isn’t all information like some are. all in all i really enjoyed this book and hope rowling writes another series.

I feel that this book puts a button on a please all series. It is, of course impossible to please all the readers. To that note I feel Rowling left just enough happiness to promote the readers hope and dually enough loose ends for the reader to wonder to wonder what happens next? My breath has been taken away. Yes there was depression, but it was necessary. How else would the reader be able to actually understand the long and seemingly impossible quest of destroying Voldemort if they themselves did not also experience some helplessness? I feel that she ended it in the only way that did her Hero and the series justice. I think weather you are feeling as content as I am or not, Harry Potter will be missed. I look forward to reading what brilliance Ms. Rowling will be putting out next. In the mean time it is with a heavy heart that I close the cover on the series that taught me to read, taught me to hope, and taught me to dream; my hero, Harry Potter.

Rowling's final installment in the Harry Potter series was lacking in elements that made her series magical, placing Harry in a scenario that is dull and depressing. Rowling makes Harry lose friends that were dear to him, and send him deep into an area of loneliness. To make matters worse, Harry gives up on his education just because he was told to. This destroys what Rowling promoted once; being loyal to friends, and keeping up with education. Beyond the moral aspects of the book, Rowling stretches out the long, dreary parts of the book and keeps exciting parts of the book short. It became tiresome to hear about meaningless chitchat of goblins in the woods when it became more concerning to just move on to the next part. Rowling simply created too many questions to summarize into one heaping epilogue, so I gave this book a three out of five. All of the fascinating pages were clouded by meaningless content that easily could have been dropped out.

I wouldn't call myself an avid Harry Potter fan, but I read the books and particularly enjoyed the most recent installment. It was a great book and an amazing conclusion. Rowling has outdone herself. She does a terrific job of developing her characters, and you have to admire her imagination. One question though, is where did Neville get the sword, did I miss something, or did the goblin have the sword last? overall, incredible conclusion to a timeless story.

I have to agree with the people who have said that this one is the best in the series - I’ve completely fallen in love with the book! I keep rereading parts of it, and it has been nearly two weeks since I finished it. I was worried when I started reading it that there would be too much to cover in 759 pages (with the Horcruxes and everything else to worry about) but I think Rowling did a superb job with tying all the loose ends together. It was amazing how well she was able to weave in suprises that were perfectly believable and make the characters so human. Snape’s complexities, how he protected Harry for the sake of Lily, but hated him because of his father, were remarkable. I liked how nearly every character was redeemable in some way, and yet none of them were perfect. We even got to know Voldemort by the end. It really speaks about not judging other people too much, because we don’t know where they are coming from. I thought the book was an almost perfect blend of tragedy and happiness. Taken alone, neither one would quite sit well with the readers. The many deaths have been complained about, but so has the happy ending. I think they offset each other. I started crying during the Prince’s Tale, and I couldn’t stop until I got to King’s Cross. The end was happy, but it was also bittersweet, because not everyone made it. (My one wish would have been to include the reunion between Harry and Ginny after each had assumed they would never see the other again.) Like I said though, I am quite in love with the book.

I have to say that this is J.K. Rowling's best work. And this is the time where the phrase 'save the best for last' is needed. It was REALLY fun reading this book. It was funny, sad, happy, and it had unexpected moments.I recommend the book to everybody because it was a blast reading it. I can't believe I finished the Harry Potter series, but I did and I feel great!
