Now we get to the God of Military Sci-Fi, David Weber. This story is set in the future with the Terran Empire. A 17 year old girl enlists in the Empire's Marine Corps after going through a five year college course in 2 years. Follows her through her time as a Marine before she joins the Imperial Cadre, and then has the greatest betrayel ever known to the Cadre. A very good book, I can't reccommend it enough!

If you like this book you will enjoy the entire Honor Harrington Series (11 Great Books) also by David Weber.
