Lee Child’s Jack Reacher is certainly a solitary man going it alone against all probability of his winning and yet he does win. I don’t expect Lee Child to come up with a protagonist that I will ever identify with: the character is ridiculous. But that is what you get from a tv personality like Child. 7 out of 10 stars.
