After the Heartland War, a parent may choose to have their child, aged 13-18, unwound, or salvaged for their organs but technically still alive. Follow the stories of Connor, Risa, and Lev as they try to escape their fate- a fate that has them marked for unwinding. One of my favorite books ever, I highly recommend it.

This book is thilling and a little romantic but boys if you don’t like romantic than this is the type of book you might want to skip although it doesn’t have that much romance. This book was a little scary but if you keep reading it you won’t want to put it down my faveorite charter is Conner a 15 yaer old running for his and 2 others lives. He was the one to get Risa,a ward of the state and Lev,a theith who was born to be unwound sucked in to this whole mess but if you like scary books than stop at hennapin library now! I liked it and I’m only 12!

When kids reach a certain age, they can be 'unwound', their parts grafted onto other people. This book has three protagonists but is still freaky cool.

My world was a bit dull, but after reading Unwind, it changed my life of thinking! It is a must read book. It is the sneak peak to the past before The Hunger Games. Absolutely phenomenal!
