This is a fantastic book about a group of rabbits who have to run away from their home as it is being destroyed and find a new home somewhere else. It's exciting, sad, funny and touching all at once, and I think everyone should read it. This is my favorite book.

This is the first book I ever read that I just simply could not put down. To this day, I believe it is my favorite book of all time. I concur with the other favorable reviews. However, I would add that the book is actually quite symbolic of humankind's past movement from leadership by those with physical power, to leadership by those with true leadership ability. Every character plays a unique role, and even the smallest and weakest are able to contribute to the group at some point. Truly a remarkable book from start to finish. I would note that every man I know who has read this book has loved it. Many women do also, but some of my female friends did not care for it. It does tend to be male-centric. All the main characters are males, on a quest together. Truly an epic novel. I only wish Adams had more than one great story in him.

A story about rabbits looking for a safe place to live. Although it is quite dated, it is a sure must for fantasy readers.
