Franklin returns to form with this installment of the Mistress of the Art of Death series. Adelia is called in to examine some bones found in the abbey graveyard in Glastonbury. Are they King Arthur and Guinevere? King Henry sure hopes so. If they’re dead, he can put to rest the hope that Arthur is just sleeping and will return. The continuing story of the characters we love is advanced and Adelia makes some new friends and a dangerous enemy.
