One of several books that tell the story of a families’ emigration from Sweden to Minnesota. The Karl Oskar Days celebration of Swedish heritage in Lindstrom, Minnesota, is named after the main character, Karl Oskar Nilsson. This and the other books in the series make for great cabin reading.
